Depression is usually intertwined with mental illness. In this current generation, depression is not just a side issue, with the pressures brought by our increasingly demanding environment and mass media. Depression is also one of the biggest factors on the suicide rates. This is a wake-up call for us that mental illness should not be disregarded.
Seeking help with depression can help prevent the worsening of the condition and suicide. We should not be ashamed to consult a doctor when they feel that they are experiencing depression in their lives.
