With decades of experience helping individuals and families navigate some of life's most important decisions, Valerie Van de Zilver brings both professional expertise and a deeply personal understanding of the aging journey to Options for Senior Living California. She helps older adults and their families explore senior living, housing, care, and transition options with clarity and confidence.

An award-winning Senior Transition Strategist, Senior Home Coach™, Author, National Speaker, Host of Always Ageless Radio & Podcast, Chair of the National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC) Orange County Chapter, advocate for older adults, and Real Estate Broker, Valerie believes finding the right senior living option begins with listening, understanding what matters most, and helping each family make informed decisions with confidence.

Her extensive background in real estate, housing, senior transitions, and family advocacy is complemented by something equally important: personal experience navigating these decisions with her own family. Having walked alongside her own aging parents (her Mom is 107) through changing needs, caregiving, and senior living decisions, Valerie understands firsthand the questions, emotions, and uncertainties families face.

Valerie is the Founder and Host of Always Ageless, a radio show and podcast dedicated to helping people Live Fully. Age Differently. She is also Co-Host of The Senior Huddle, bringing professionals together to share knowledge, resources, ideas, and real-world experience to better serve older adults and their families.

Valerie is married to a kind and curious husband Peter, Mom to one son, MIL to a talented lady, Grandma to two beautiful granddaughters.
