These innovations provide a single point of contact, simplifying the journey and delivering comprehensive support for families navigating the challenges of senior care.
Senior Resource Connectors
One way this innovation manifests is through Senior Resource Connectors, a coalition of over 40 local, aging-friendly companies dedicated to ensuring adult children do not walk unsupported on the complex journey of aging. This network brings together the best minds in finance, elder law, downsizing, home health, hospice, senior scam protection, and much more. By offering families access to vetted, local resources, Senior Resource Connectors simplifies the process and provides peace of mind during a challenging time.
The Aging Parent Tribe
Our second initiative, The Aging Parent Tribe, is a private Facebook group designed as a safe space for caregivers to connect, ask questions, and find support. We understand there’s no such thing as a perfect caregiver, and we’ve seen firsthand the value of a community of like-minded individuals. The Aging Parent Tribe fosters a sense of safety and belonging, empowering families to navigate the emotional and practical challenges of caregiving with confidence.
Advocating for Industry Standards
Our commitment to innovation extends to addressing systemic challenges in the senior placement industry. Through our involvement in the creation of the Professional Association of Senior Referral Specialists (PASRS), we are dedicated to tackling the issues of an unregulated industry. These efforts reflect our ongoing mission to raise standards, ensure accountability, and provide families with trusted, reliable support.
Raising the Standards of Senior Living Placement Across the United States
Since launching the Options for Senior Living Placement and Referral Specialist Bootcamp course, we’ve trained well over 50 professionals across the country, helping to elevate the standards of senior placement and ensuring that a set of best practices and principles are followed, to the benefit of families, and vulnerable seniors.
