They sacrifice so much to become the caregivers they are today. Most seniors require round-the-clock care, meaning some caregivers live with them. This means that they give up quality family time back home. They give up a lot of things and activities because the person they care for becomes the priority. They usually make the seniors the central part of their life, as they deserve to be.
The aforementioned is only the tip of the iceberg as to why these caregivers deserve recognition for their hard work and dedication. It is easy to underestimate their jobs and forget that they exist entirely. However, through this annual commemoration of National Family Caregivers Month, they are given a chance to be seen by the public as significant figures. This is because they are essential in ensuring one’s health and wellbeing.
